- Loyalty on video sites, there are new small video sites that start up whenever something goes wrong on the big sites like YouTube. With the advent of Ning there were many little video networks that have come and gone trying to get the old Livevideo users to follow. Then Ning did away with the free service and began to charge for the service, thus narrowing the amount of networks. also there were Ning sites that were paid sites that just did not make it..Yahoo Video closed. This never got a good start, and it’s hard to compete with the big sites like YouTube and Dailymotion.
where all the old users of YouTube have scattered. Seems that what was will never be again. The feeling of a big community of friends and video-makers has been banished to be scattered.
As soon as the novelty wares off they run back YouTube. The litte group of friends scatter like sheep and jump on the next little site that comes along and flock there till it gets old.
On July 23rd 2007 On The Air TV came on line as a new video sharing site.. It has remained online for all that time. also with the advent of Ning there were many little video networks that have come and gone trying to get the old Livevideo users to follow. Then Ning did away with the free service and began to charge for the service, thus narrowing the amount of networks. also there were Ning sites that were paid sites that just did not make it.
The backlash against Google Inc. (NASDAQ:GOOG) is mounting over its decision to integrate YouTube comments with its Google+ social network.
It’s easy to see what Google is trying to do here, at least superficially. YouTube comments have always been held up as some of the worst on the internet, full of memes and crudity and all around terribleness. This new move is supposed to raise more substantive comments to the top, and force people to hopefully behave better when they’re forced to use their real names.
Writing under my real name on the internet for the last five years, I’ve sometimes secretly wished that everyone had to experience the same pressure that comes with that, and be responsible for every vile thing they’ve said on the internet (and to me) rather than hiding behind the cloak of anonymity.
So will the sheep run back to the big sites? On the Air TV has been online over 6 yeare.with a proven track record. and still fall victom to the sheep. and the flock. But!! still does have loyal members Please chech out On The Air TV’s Members.
It’s not just a game. Seems Google has the Monopoly on videos on world Press. This smells like a bit of anti trust laws to me. they say its a security risk! I say Not! there are lots of other sites and flash players that are safe.
There are a few video sharing sites like LiveVideo That seem to be more then safe. What about Yahoo Video? and My new site On the Air TV using JW MEDIA PLAYER 3.11 This seems to just be unfair to all the other video sharing sites not to be on the same playing field as the big guy!
So you think You Tube and Google are the only players out there. Guess again!
